HAMILTON — Kyle Baun scored three goals to spark Colgate University’s men’s hockey team past St. Lawrence University, 7-3, on Saturday night in ECAC Hockey play at Starr Rink to extend the Saints’ winless skid to nine games.

St. Lawrence (8-13-3, 2-7-3) has gone 0-8-1 since its last victory nearly two months ago on Nov. 29, a 5-2 win at North Dakota.

Tyson Spink contributed a goal and three assists for the Raiders (13-9-3, 9-3-1), who won for just the second time at home against the Saints over the past eight meetings in Hamilton.

Goalie Charlie Finn stopped 22 of 25 shots for the Raiders, who swept the season series with both St. Lawrence and Clarkson.

Gavin Bayreuther and Woody Hudson each scored power-play goals and Drew Smolcynski tallied a goal for the Saints, who are also winless in their past eight league games (0-7-1).
