BRASHER FALLS - The St. Lawrence Central varsity basketball teams gained an NAC interdivisional sweep at home over Norwood-Norfolk on Wednesday.

BOYS GAME

Senior Josh White generated 22 points, seven steals and four assists as the host Larries relayed a 25-8 first-quarter lead into a 56-36 decision over the Flyers. Cody Meacham added 10 points toward the winning effort followed by Shane Fuentes with nine, Nate Arquette with six, Skyler Burns with four, Trent Saumier and Brody Simonds with two apiece and Jayce Lanning with one.

Dustin Fisher paced the Flyers with a career-high 18 points. Zach Benware chipped in five followed by Travis Gay with four. Garrett Waite and Gage Orologio added three points apiece. Skyler Stanford made two foul shots and Ian St. Andrews connected for a solo free throw.

GIRLS GAME

The girls game saw the Lady Larries pull away to a 54-29 win. No further details were made available at presstime.

OTHER BOYS GAME

In the lone other NAC boys basketball matchup slated for Wednesday, Salmon River outscored former East Division rival Chateaugay 40-36.

Antoine Dominio led the winning offense with 13 points followed by Josh Hynes with 10, Kason Tarvell with six and Zach Smith with five. Justin Bigness, Russ Oakes and Tyler Brooks each finished with two as the Shamrocks overcame a 26-15 halftime deficit with a 10-5 third-quarter run.

Seth Young tossed through a game-high 22 points in the losing cause.

OTHER GIRLS GAME

The other NAC girls basketball game played on Wednesday saw Brushton-Moira notch a 52-30 East Division win at home over St. Regis Falls. Kirstin Barrett led the winning effort with 11 points followed by Arielle Gary and Micaela McCarthy with eight points each.

Madison Greenwood led all scorers with 18 points in the losing cause. Brianah Work chipped in another 10.

The West Division game between Heuvelton and Lisbon was postponed.
