Ahmed Mahfouz scored a goal and assisted on two others as the Dayton Demonz rolled past the Watertown Privateers 5-2, on Saturday night at Watertown Municipal Arena to snap the Privateers’ six-game winning streak.

August Aiken also provided a goal and two assists and goalie Matthew Kinsella made 28 saves for Dayton (16-10), which handed Watertown (13-14) its first loss in January.

Roger Tagoona also supplied a goal and an assist for the Demonz.

Bryan Kalczynski stopped 30 of 35 shots for the Privateers.

Dane Erickson and Dustin Skinner each tallied a goal and an assist for Watertown.

The Privateers are on the road next weekend in Danbury to take on the Whalers. Game time on Saturday is at 7:35 p.m. and next Sunday’s game is at 5:05 p.m.
