A Liverpool resident was released from St. Elizabeths Hospital, Utica, after suffering non-life threatening injuries in a snowmobile crash in Martinsburg on Friday afternoon.
Niko R. Ziparo, 22, was injured while traveling north at Corrigan Hill Road after he hit a dip on a trail, causing him to lose control and strike his upper body into the handlebars.
He was taken by helicopter to the Utica hospital. A nurse supervisor told the Times that Mr. Ziparo was released but did not have a time for when that happened.
Responding to the crash was the Lewis County Sheriffs Office, Martinsburg Fire Department, Lewis County Search and Rescue, and EMS 1.
