MASSENA — A big second quarter sent the Ogdensburg Free Academy boys basketball team to a 72-46 win over Massena in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game Thursday night.

OFA (10-1 overall, 7-0 division) outscored the Red Raiders 30-7 in the second quarter to hand Massena its first division loss.

Matt Piercey led OFA with 18 points and Kinnon LaRose tossed in 15. Colin Ross scored 11 for the Blue Devils.

Zevon Viskovich paced Massena (8-2, 6-1) with 16 points and Dante Viskovich added 11.

POTSDAM 60, GOUVERNEUR 46

Jack Byrnes scored 18 points and Matt Stone added 17 as the Sandstoners (5-5, 4-3) defeated Gouverneur in a Central Division game in Potsdam.

Jordan Chambers led Gouverneur (3-5, 1-4) with 13 points and Dustin Hutton tallied 10.

CANTON 67, SALMON RIVER 63 (2 OT)

Evan LaPoint produced 24 points as the Golden Bears (4-3, 2-3) edged Salmon River in double-overtime in a Central Division game in Canton.

Francesco Palumbo scored 15 points and Scott Wight tossed in 13 for Canton.

Antoine Domino led the Shamrocks (2-5) with 26 points and Josh Hynes scored 16.

MALONE 70, ST. LAWRENCE 24

Camron Gallagher scored 15 points for Malone (9-2, 5-2) in a Central Division victory over the Larries in Brasher Falls.

Alex Johnson tallied 13 points and Kody Mulverhill provided 10.

Josh White led the Larries (0-8, 0-7) with nine points.

LISBON 49, HARRISVILLE 34

Jimmy Robinson produced 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Golden Knights (7-1, 6-0) defeated Harrisville in a West Division game in Lisbon.

Tim Fowler scored nine points to lead the Pirates (6-3, 4-1).

Harrisville lost Nate Weaver, who was averaging 21 points per game, for the season last weekend with an ankle injury.

MORRISTOWN 63, HAMMOND 40

Ryan Vollmer finished with 16 points as the Green Rockets (4-2) defeated Hammond in a West Division contest in Morristown.

Jake VanArnam scored 12 points and Zach Kanaly tallied 11 for Morristown.

Payton Frisina led the Red Devils (3-5, 2-4) with a 13-point game and Brock Tulley scored 10.

HEUVELTON 51, HERMON-DEKALB 36

The Bulldogs (4-5, 3-3) used an 18-11 run in the third quarter to pull away from Hermon-DeKalb in a West Division game in Heuvelton.

Casey Smith led Heuvelton with 18 points. Trevor Rolfe paced the Demons (1-9, 0-6) with nine.

EDWARDs-KNOX 73, CLIFton-FINE 36

Section 10’s leading scorer, Kaden Dandrow, produced 27 points, moving within 24 of the 1,000-point mark for his career, as Edwards-Knox (5-4, 4-2) defeated the Eagles in a West Division game at Star Lake.

Jeremiah Randall scored 20 points and Jordan Davis produced 11 for the Cougars.

Ryan Provost led the Eagles (0-5) with 15 points.

MADRID-WADDINGTON 51, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 50

A free throw by David Odendahl with seven seconds left was decisive as the Yellow Jackets (5-4, 4-2) edged the Brushton-Moira in an East Division game in Madrid.

Jacob Barney and Zach Brock each scored 12 points for Madrid-Waddington.

Alex Burnett led the Panthers (4-6, 3-4) with 17 points and Taylor Tallman tossed in 10.

ST. REGIS FALLS 65,| COLTON-PIERREPONT 31

Corey LaBounty scored 26 points as St. Regis Falls (10-0, 6-0) knocked off the Colts in an East Division game in Colton.

Brandon Votra scored 16 points and Ryan Duquette provided 11 for the Saints.

Zach Farr led Colton-Pierreopnt (2-7, 2-5) with 18 points and Ethan Knight tallied 11.

TUPPER LAKE 63, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 16

Austin Gagnier scored 11 points to help Tupper Lake defeat the Panthers (2-8, 1-5) in an East Division contest in Parisvhille.

Morgan Stevens added eight points for the Lumberjacks (7-3, 5-1).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

HEUVELTON 63, HARRISVILLE 25

Paige McCormick scored 15 points and Olivia St. Pierre added 13 points, 10 rebounds and nine steals as Heuvelton defeated the Pirates (1-5, 0-4) in a West Division game in Harrisville.

Alexis Weidner added 10 points for Heuvelton (7-0, 4-0).
