Jakob W. Wilcox, 16, of 215 W. Hoard St., was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Monday after city police said he got into a fight with a 15-year-old boy in the in Watertown High School cafeteria.
According to police, Mr. Wilcox repeatedly punched the student on the head, causing pain and redness. He also was accused of causing pain to the youths right wrist and hand. The unnamed student required medical attention.
Mr. Wilcox was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child and was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
He was issued appearance tickets for City Court.
