City police have arrested a man in connection with a Nov. 4 burglary on Holcomb Street that police said resulted in the theft of more than $1,000 in money and jewelry.
Jonathan M. Streeter, 35, of 311 W. Woodruff St., was arrested 12:40 p.m. Sunday at his residence and charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Mr. Streeter is accused of unlawfully entering 413 Holcomb St., owned by Margaret Cook. While there, he allegedly broke down the bedroom door, damaging both the door and the lock, and stole the jewelry and money.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $10,000 cash bail pending arraignment in City Court.
