City police charged a Watertown man with punching a woman in the face and breaking her laptop computer in an alleged domestic disturbance Monday morning.
Wendell G. Alberry III, 29, of 736 W. Main St., Apt 2, was accused of striking Kayde M. Lilley, same address, and intentionally breaking her HP laptop valued at $1,200.
He was arrested at 3:20 a.m. and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. He was transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held without bail pending arraignment in City Court.
Ms. Lilley requested a stay-away order of protection against Mr. Alberry.
