DANVILLE, Ill. — Matt Anthony made 51 saves to backstop the Watertown Privateers past the Danville Dashers, 3-1, on Saturday night in a Federal Hockey League game at David S. Palmer Arena.

Dane Erickson and Andrew Harrison each scored a goal and registered an assist for the Privateers (6-12).

Jeff Dill tallied a goal for Watertown and Britt Ouellette recorded three assists.

Both Dill and Erickson scored within a span of 44 seconds in the first period as the Privateers built a 2-0 advantage.

After Ray Tremblay scored at 19:54 of the middle period to draw Danville within 2-1, Harrison followed with a goal 42 seconds into the third for the final margin.

Matt Cooper stopped 37 of 40 shots for the Dashers (6-14).

Watertown returns to host Danbury at 7:35 tonight.
