BROWNVILLE — State police arrested a Philadelphia man and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he reportedly was seen driving erratically.

Todd S. Kiechle, 51, of 17 Clark St., was arrested at 9:54 a.m. Monday after he was observed making unsafe lane changes on Interstate 81 near exit 44 in the town of Watertown, police said. His blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, they said.

The limits under state law are 0.08 percent BAC for DWI and 0.18 percent for aggravated DWI. He also was charged with making unsafe lane changes.

He was arraigned in Watertown Town Court, where he paid $250 cash bail and was released.
