PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Rhonda R. Sprague, 45, of North Bangor with petit larceny at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday after responding to a complaint filed with troopers at 5:08 p.m. from the town of Potsdam. She was released on an appearance ticket.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accident around the region on Wednesday and early Thursday. Among them:

Jayant J. Jhaveri, 56, of Massena at 5:01 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 56 in the town of Potsdam.

Robert E. Gotham, 75, of Canton and Henry A. Besaw, 39, of Harrisville were involved in a two-vehicle accident at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 21 in the town of Canton.

Anne Leslie Conant, 24, of Canton at 5:07 a.m. Thursday on state Highway 56 in the town of Potsdam.

Ernest W. Parker, 65, of St. Regis Falls at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday on County Route 55 in the town of Lawrence.



INJURY ACCIDENT - LAWRENCE - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 11 in the town of Lawrence. Massena-based state police responded to the accident involving Scott Michael Light, 31, of Malone and Rachel A. Lamothe, 25, of Nicholville.



BAD CHECK - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police reported that they had charged Shawn L. McGregor, 36, of Norfolk with one count of issuing a bad check at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 13 stemming from an incident reported to them at 1:39 p.m. Feb. 25 from the town of Fort Covington. He was released on an appearance ticket.
