CANTON — In an early season showdown of Northern Athletic Conference Central Division leaders, Rachel Lamica scored 22 points as Malone’s girls basketball team held off Canton en route to recording a 73-68 victory in double overtime Monday.

Morgan Fountain contributed 19 points to lead the Huskies (4-0 overall), who survived a fourth-quarter comeback bid and a last-second Canton shot to end the first overtime.

Taylor Poirier added 10 points for Malone.

Tori Daley scored 28 points for the Bears (3-2, 3-1). Emily Pinckney added 16 points and Kali Frank chipped in with 14.

OFA 59, SALMON RIVER 28

Susie Morrow scored 17 points and Meg Dodge contributed 15 points as the Blue Devils rolled to victory in an NAC Central game at Salmon River.

Riley Luckie added 10 points for OFA (4-2, 3-1).

Kwiio King paced Salmon River (2-2) with 10 points.

MADRID-WADDINGTON 66, COLTON-PIERREPONT 27

Desiree Pryce scored 16 points and hauled in eight rebounds as the Yellowjackets cruised to an NAC East victory in Colton.

Tess Knight added eight points and five assists for Madrid-Waddington (4-1, 3-0).

Morgan Doyle scored 21 points for the Colts (1-3, 1-2).

CHATEAUGAY 55, ST. REGIS FALLS 22

Danielle Charland contributed 14 points to lead the Bulldogs to an NAC East triumph at St. Regis Falls. Katie Beach and Young added nine points each for Chateaugay (2-1, 2-0).

Madison Greenwood paced the Saints (1-2) with a game-high 15 points.

MORRISTOWN 48, LIBSON 35

Jess Geddes scored 19 points to pace the Green Rockets to an NAC West triumph at Morristown. Taylor Piercey added 14 points for Morristown (3-3, 2-2).

Beth Crowley totaled 11 points for the Golden Knights (2-3, 1-2).

BOYS BASKETBALL

HAMMOND 59, HERMON-DEKALB 42

Payton Frisina totaled 21 points as the Red Devils (3-2, 2-1) outlasted the Demons in an NAC West game.

Cody Merritt scored 23 points for Hermon-DeKalb (0-5, 0-4).
