Waddington woman charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance

MADRID — Amy L. Miller, 42, of 12508 Route 37, Waddington, was charged Friday afternoon by state police with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said she was pulled over on County Route 14 for an equipment violation when they found her to be in possession of controlled substances including oxycodone and Concerta. Police said her license also was suspended.

Ms. Miller is scheduled to appear in Madrid Town Court.
