BRASHER FALLS - The OFA varsity girls basketball team relayed a 23-19 halftime lead into a 47-34 NAC Central Division win over host St. Lawrence Central on Monday.

Lindsey Thayer tallied 12 points in the losing cause followed by Chelsea Savage with nine, Haleigh Agans with six, Jenna Kesner with four and Bailee Gauthier with three.

Riley Luckie tossed through a game-high 19 points, including a pair of three-pointers to spark the Lady Blue Devils (2-2, 1-1), who carried the momentum of a 12-6 third-quarter run to the end in posting their first Central Division win. Meg Dodge contributed 15 points toward the winning effort followed by Brooke Badlam with seven.

SLC (0-2) is slated to play at Potsdam on Friday.

In a pair of non-league girls basketball matchups on Monday, Saranac Lake outscored Tupper Lake 42-29 and Alexandria host Hermon-DeKalb.
