Matt Piercey tallied 13 points with three 3-point field goals, and passed out five assists for the Blue Devils. John Montopolous scored 18 points to lead Section 2s Albany Academy, the reigning state Federation Class A champion.

Freshman Dante Viskovich made a promising varsity debut scoring a game-high 18 points with three 3-point field goals for the Red Raiders, who beat the Wildcats in the season opener for both teams.
Logan Deshane and Tyler Hayes each added nine points for Massena.

The guard tandem of Mikayla Horton and Courtney Bova nearly recorded triple doubles to lead the defending NAC West and Section 10 Class D champion Red Devils past the Cougars (0-3, 0-1) in the season opener for both teams in Edwards.
Horton and Bova scored 19 and 31 points, respectively, and each player was credited with nine assists and eight steals for Hammond (2-0, 1-0).

Madison Greenwood scored a team-high 11 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead the Saints past the Lumberjacks in the season opener for both teams in St. Regis.
Brianna Work added 10 points for St. Regis Falls, which finished the game with just six eligible players due to Nakensy Bazdaric leaving with an injury.
