DAYTON, Ohio — Ahmed Mahfouz totaled five points, including three goals, as the Dayton Demonz routed the Watertown Privateers, 8-1, on Thursday night in a Federal Hockey League game at Hara Arena.

August Aiken chipped in with two goals for the Demonz (7-5), which scored the game’s first five goals, and Roger Tagoona added a goal and two assists. Goalie Matthew Kinsella stopped 25 of 26 shots for Dayton.

Dustin Skinner scored the lone goal for Watertown (3-8). Privateers goalie Matt Anthony allowed six goals on 32 shots.

Watertown plays hosts the to Danbury Whalers tonight and Saturday at 7:35.
