LOWVILLE — A Lowville teen was arrested Friday afternoon after village police said he damaged items in his apartment while in the presence of two children.

Jordan M. Ayers, 16, of 5424 Stowe St., Apt. 3, was charged at 3:15 p.m. with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to police, Mr. Ayers intentionally damaged items in his apartment during an argument with a family member while he was in the presence of two children under the age of 17.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Village Court.
