The Jefferson County district attorney’s office has declined prosecution of a Watertown woman charged Sunday with petit larceny, determining that it is a civil, rather than criminal, matter, according to state police.

Amber B. Fuller, 26, of 732 LeRay St., was issued an appearance ticket for LeRay Town Court after it was alleged that she stole $500 worth of equipment and other items from Black Pearl Tattoo in Evans Mills.

Police said that after consultation with an assistant district attorney, it was determined that the charge would be not pursued, with its dismissal pending in court.
