ALEXANDRIA BAY As of Jan. 1, River Hospital, 4 Fuller St., will ask patients to bring a photo identification and insurance card with them for each visit.
According to a news release, that change will help the hospital prepare for changes with the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and many new people who will have insurance as a result of that.
Failure to bring your identification card with you for non-emergency visits may result in a delay in treatment or service.
