Black chain-link fence beautifies the area

I do not see what harm the chain-link fence on Mr. Johnson’s Mullin Street property is doing.

Because it is a chain-link fence, all the more reason to wonder. It is not obstructing anyone’s view to get out a driveway or whatever as it is a see-through.

The beauty of it is the black color. Perhaps a fairly stiff fine of say $5,000 would benefit both Mr. Johnson and the city of Watertown.

If the fence was wooden, I could see the objections. But this beautiful chain-link fence is just that, beautiful. Also, if it were the ugly gray color of most chain-link fences, I could see the objection to that too.

I give Mr. Johnson credit to be a business owner at his young age. He beautifies places and gives them a break. Perhaps he will learn from this.
