The following people were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Jason W. Viers, 23, of 654 Emerson St., was charged by Watertown police with aggravated DWI at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at J.B. Wise Place. He also was cited with an equipment violation. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent, which is the minimum legal level to warrant an aggravated DWI charge. A BAC of 0.08 percent or above is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
■ Raymond C. Stoddard, 58, Norfolk, was charged by state police following a traffic stop at 12:49 a.m. Saturday on Route 37 in the town of Oswegatchie. His BAC was not available.
■ Jason M. Capone, 41, Route 56, Hannawa Falls, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriffs deputies with aggravated DWI and operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lights following a traffic stop early Saturday on Route 56 in the town of Potsdam. He reportedly had a BAC of 0.24 percent.
■ Terry C. Russell Jr., 35, Madrid was charged by Potsdam village police at 2:40 a.m. Thursday.
Mr. Russell was stopped for driving through a red light at Sandstone Drive and Pine Street, police said. His BAC was measured at 0.13 percent, they said.
