A man and a woman were arrested by Watertown police for allegedly entering a Bronson Street residence late Tuesday when the owner was not around.

City police charged Yarbrough J. Latulas, 29, and Melissa A. Leone, 24, both with second-degree criminal trespassing at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Bronson Street.

Police said the homeowner filed a complaint after a neighbor alerted her of people entering her house.

Ms. Leone lives at 419 Dimmick St., according to the arrest report. Mr. Latulas claimed he lived at a Cayuga Avenue residence but the property owner there told authorities that was not true, police said.

Both were arraigned Wednesday before City Judge Eugene R. Renzi. Mr. Latulas was sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $5,000 bail and Ms. Leone was released on her own recognizance.
