ERIE, Pa. — Christie Cicero scored with 73 seconds left in the third period to give the Mercyhurst women’s hockey team a 3-2 win over St. Lawrence University in a nonconference game Tuesday night.

The Saints (6-8-1 overall) built a 2-0 lead early in the second period when Mel Desrochers and Kirsten Paradis each scored power-play goals in the first 6 minutes, 48 seconds.

Mercyhurst (9-5-2) began its comeback with a power-play goal from Cicero at 15:55 of the second period. Kathy Donahue tied the game with another power-play goal at 9:44 of the third period.
