PLATTSBURGH — SUNY Plattsburgh midfielder Emily LaLone, a former Immaculate Heart Central standout, was named to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference second team.

It marks the second time the 2013 team captain has earned a spot on an All-SUNYAC squad; she represented the Cardinals on the third team in 2011.

LaLone led the Cardinals in total shots (49) and finished second in shots on goal (19). She scored two goals, including the game-winner against Clarkson on Sept. 24. She also was one of two players on the Plattsburgh roster who started all 18 games, and she recorded a team-high 1,560 playing minutes.

In her career, LaLone started 70 of 71 games, and scored 10 goals, five assists for 25 points.
