Joy Anne Morgan, Watertown, and Richard Paul Cumming, Montreal, were married at noon July 5 at Holy Family Church with the Rev. Joseph Anthony Morgan, uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William and Anne Morgan, Watertown. The groom is the son of Flora Cumming, Glasgow, Scotland. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a dotted organza, tea-length gown with veil and carried a bouquet of wildflowers.

Margaret Smith Ramsay, Virginia, was matron of honor.

David J.F. Cumming, Glasgow, was his brother’s best man.

A reception was held in Sackets Harbor. The couple took a 10-day honeymoon to Glasgow.

Mrs. Cumming graduated from Watertown High School, SUNY Plattsburgh and McGill University, Montreal, with a master’s degree in second language education. She is a junior/senior high school French teacher.

Mr. Cumming graduated from the University of Glasgow and the Theological Seminary, New York City. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Christian theology at McGill University.
