LOWVILLE Jammie L. Premo, 31, of Austin Road, Glenfield, was charged by village police with second-degree burglary about 3 a.m. Saturday after police responded to a complaint from an elderly resident.
According to police, the resident was awoken by a loud crash. When she went to investigate, she found an unknown man in her apartment who had tipped over her electric stove and broke several drinking mugs. The man fled, leaving clothing items and his wallet and ID on her kitchen floor, police said.
Mr. Premo was located down the hall in his girlfriends apartment, police said He was arraigned by Village Justice Patricia H. Yarina and sent to Lewis County jail on $5,000 bail.
