HANOVER, N.H. — Patrick Doherty scored two goals and registered two assists as St. Lawrence University’s men’s hockey team downed Dartmouth, 8-5 on Saturday night in an ECAC Hockey game at Thompson Arena.

Greg Carey also had a four-point night with a goal and three assists for the Saints, who completed a weekend road sweep after defeating Harvard, 3-1 on Friday.

Gunnar Hughes tallied two goals and an assist and Matt Carey scored a pair of goals for St. Lawrence (6-2-2), which remains unbeaten in league play at 2-0-2.

Goalie Matt Weninger made 27 saves to record the win for the Saints.

Charles Grant stopped 21 of 28 shots faced for the winless Big Green (0-6, 0-4).
