CHITTENANGO — Justin Frechette and JP McClusky scored goals as No. 2-seeded Immaculate Heart Central boys soccer team beat top-seeded Poland, 2-0, in the Section 3 Class D championship, for the school’s first sectional title in the sport since 1988.

Frechette scored his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute and McClusky added an insurance goal in the 68th for IHC (15-3-1). Tournament Co-Most Valuable Player Jarrod Smith made nine saves.

Tornadoes goalie Mitch Jones was named co-MVP along with Smith.
