Victor R. Jacobson, Sr., age 68, life resident of Parish passed away Wednesday at his home with his family by his side. Victor was born June 4, 1945 in Parish, the son of Lyle and Sara Patchin Jacobson. He attended Parish Schools. Victor married Wilma Waterbury on May 25, 1968. He was employed by Fulton Companies for 31 years, retiring in March 2009. He was previously employed by Columbia Mills in Minetto for 20 years. He was a member of the Pulaski Masonic Lodge #415 F&AM.

Surviving wife, Wilma, one son, Victor (Lisa) Jacobson Jr. of Mannsville, three daughters, Katie (Scott) Kastler of Lacona, Carrie (John) Miller of Central Square, Willa (Todd) Sargent of Parish, three brothers, Lyle and Paul Jacobson both of Georgia and William Jacobson of Fulton, four sisters, Fay Jacobson of Henderson, Janet Hallock of Georgia, and Pauline Miller and Peggy Haynes both of Parish, seven grandchildren, Korinne, Michaela, Chelsea, Joshua, Brendan, Carter and Victoria.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11, Pulaski with burial in Parish Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral at the Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Donations may be made to the Pulaski Masonic Lodge.
