The Watertown City School District and Army & Navy American Legion Post 61 will hold a jamboree from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at the post, 138 Sterling St., to help raise money to build a pavilion at Wiley Elementary School to honor Stephen Hodkinson.

Mr. Hodkinson was a longtime member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 61, and a 28-year member of the Watertown School District staff, serving for most of his years as head custodian at Wiley Elementary.

He was diagnosed with stage four cancer Jan. 25 and died three days later on Jan. 28 at the age of 51.

Donations can be sent to Steve Hodkinson Pavilion Fund, in care of Phil Gary or James O’Brien, American Legion Army & Navy Post 61, 138 Sterling St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601.
