St. Lawrence Central knocked off Tupper Lake and Brushton-Moira stopped Norwood-Norfolk in the semi-finals of the Section 10 Class C girls soccer tournament on Tuesday.
The Lady Larries (4-12-1) and Lady Panthers (9-3-4) will now get set to meet in the championship game on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the SUNY Canton turf field.
SLC 1, Tupper Lake 0: At Tupper Lake, Breanna Evans broke through for the only goal of the game five minutes into the second half and the Lady Larries made it stand for the win.
Haleigh Agans handled the seven shots she faced working the crease for the shutout while Brooke Dewyea posted six stops for Tupper Lake (6-10-1).
B-M 4, N-N 0: In Moira, the top-seeded Lady Panthers broke open a close game with two goals over the final 12 minutes of the first half.
Jenna Dufrane opened the scoring in the 28th minute assisted by Kenzie Traynor before Kendra Mills added the insurance goal six minutes later off an assist from Dufrane, who also went on to set up the second-half goals by Traynor and Madison Rowe.
Ashley DeBeer made nine saves backstopping the shutout while Megan Plumb stopped 17 shots for the Lady Flyers (1-15).
