LOWVILLE — Jude Fusilli scored two first-half goals as the second-seeded Immaculate Heart Central boys soccer team defeated No. 3 seed Copenhagen, 3-0, in a Section 3 Class D semifinal game on Tuesday night.

Jared Pignone scored the other goal for the Cavaliers, who will take No. 1 Poland at time and place to be determined. The Tornadoes beat Owen D. Young, 4-1, in the other semifinal.

The top-seeded Copenhagen girls soccer team beat Remsen, 2-1, in a Section 3 Class D semifinal game at Lowville.

Emma Roberts scored the game-winner in the 53rd minute, while Mac Spaulding netted the first goal for the Golden Knights (18-0).

Copenhagen will face the winner of No. 2 Poland and No. 3 Cincinnatus at 5 p.m. Saturday at SUNY Cortland.

In other sectional action, No. 2 Marcellus beat No. 3 South Jefferson 7-0 in a Class B semifinal at Fulton.
