SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Brenden T. Stevenson, 19, of Potsdam for speed in zone (48/30) at 12:05 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Market Street.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Michael R. Francis, 20, of Raleigh, N.C., with an open container violation at 12:14 a.m. Saturday after he was observed on Bay Street with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Elyssa K. Que, 18, of Potsdam and Hannah M. Biton, 18, of Huntington with criminal mischief at 1:04 a.m. Saturday following an investigation into damage to a sink at a local business. The teens were reportedly seen entering a bathroom at the Stewart’s on Maple Street and when they left the sink had suffered considerable damage. The two women were taken into custody by police on Maple Street. They were released on appearance tickets.



LITTERING - POTSDAM - Village police charged Nathan T. Desnoyers, 18, of Sherrill with littering and

unauthorized possession of another’s license at 2:27 a.m. Saturday after an officer observed him throw a plastic cup on the ground on Pierrepont Avenue. He was then found to be in possession of another’s license.



UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Timothy E. Boller, 22, of South Glens Falls with unnecessary noise - stereo at 2:57 a.m. Saturday after responsing to a noise complaint on Bay Street.



DISOBEYING TRAFFIC DEVICE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Robert E. Shepherd, 20, of Endwell for disobeying a traffic control device at 8:50 p.m. Saturday after an investigation into a complaint of an erratic operator on Market Street. He reportedly drove straight through a turn only lane and cut off vehicles traveling through the lane designated for through traffic.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Adel M. Charleson, 27, of Potsdam with disorderly conduct at 3:24 p.m. Saturday following a complaint from Oct. 4 that several people had observed by several people squealing her tires and driving erratically in the parking lot at a Market Street supermarket.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Tiffany M. Hickman, 21, of Potsdam for speed in zone (43/ 30) at 11:52 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Maple Street
