MADRID - The Madrid-Waddington and Brushton-Moira varsity girls soccer teams played to a 1-1 draw in the lone NAC East Division game played on Wednesday.

Amelia Bailey opened the scoring with an unassisted goal 22 minutes into the game before the visiting Lady Panthers (8-3-4, 7-3-3) pulled even 14 minutes into the second half when Kendra Mills finished off a play set up by Lindsay McKernan.

Marlaina Bush (4 saves) and Ariana Ramsey (6 saves) shared crease duties for M-W (5-7-2, 5-6-1). Ashley DeBeer stopped 12 shots for the Lady Panthers.

Canton 1, Gouverneur 0: The Bears (12-4, 10-4 NAC Central) moved ahead of the Stoners (11-2-2, 9-2-2 NAC Central) in wins as Emily Pinckney scored from Lauren Smith in the 68th minute of play against the Wildcats at Roger Dusharm field in Canton. Katie Clemmer made six saves for the Bears. Taylor Andrews stopped 19 shots for Gouverneur (11-5-1, 8-5-1).
