GOUVERNEUR — The Primary Care Center operated by the Community Health Center of the North Country has begun seeing patients in renovated space on the lower level of E.J. Noble Hospital.

Practitioners providing care include internist George M. Dodds, nurse practitioners Andrew LaFrance and Rachel I. Raven, family practitioner Teresa Lang and pediatrician Donald C. Schuessler Jr.

The center offers “first contact” diagnosis and treatment, including preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases and routine care. Services include screenings, immunizations, prescription refills, referrals to specialists and follow-ups.

Community Health Center of the North Country is federally qualified, which means it provides care to all regardless of their ability to pay.

Most insurances, Medicaid and Family Health Plus are accepted. There is also a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.

For appointments or more information, call 287-4440.
