PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Desiree L. Fisher, 48, of Potsdam with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 11:05 a.m. Monday at the Potsdam Walmart.
AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - COLTON - Canton-based state police charged Bruce A. French, 41, of Norwood with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 11:05 a.m. Monday on Route 56 in the town of Colton. Angela M. French, 34, of Chateaugay was charged with facilitating third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CANTON - State police aroound the region responded to a number of property damage accidents around the county Monday and early Tuesday. Police agencies are also starting to see an increase in a vehicle-deer accidents. Among the accidents were:
■ Jennifer A. Clark, 21, of Webster at 7:43 a.m. Monday on Route 11B, near Sheldon Road, in the town of Hopkinton.
■ Jason M. Noon, 37, of Moira at 4:22 p.m. Monday on Route 95 at County Route 32 in the town of Bombay.
■ Nicholas Eric Fleury. 20, of Constable at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday on County Route 8, near Patterson Road, in the village of Brushton.
■ Micah E. Hayes, 20, of St. Regis Falls at 4:33 a.m. Tuesday on Route 95, near Russell Road, in the town of Moira.
