Indian River received the No. 1 seed in Class A to highlight the six-team Frontier League contingent into the Section 3 football playoffs this year. The Warriors (6-1) will host No. 7 Fulton on Friday night in the quarterfinals.

Carthage (6-1) and Immaculate Heart Central were seeded third in their respective classes. Carthage will be home against No. 6 Nottingham (2-5) on Friday in Class A, while IHC (7-0) will entertain defending Class C champion and No. 6 seed Skaneateles (5-2) on Friday.

General Brown (6-1) is No. 5 in Class C and will play at No. 4 Frankfort-Schuyler (5-2) on Saturday. Sandy Creek (6-1) is seeded fifth in Class D and travels to No. 4 West Canada Valley (5-2) on Saturday.

Thousand Islands (4-3) won its last three games to earn the No. 7 seed in Class C. The Vikings play at No. 2 Sherburne-Earlville (7-0) Friday night.
