BOONVILLE Sophomore running back Travis Anderson rushed for a career high 258 yards on 18 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead Thousand Islands to a 36-14 Section 3 Class C North win over host Adirondack on Saturday.
Anderson scored on a 4-yard run in the first quarter, a 1-yard run in the second quarter and tacked on a 46-yard scoring run in the fourth for the Vikings (3-3 overall, 2-2 conference).
Brentyn Horton returned a punt 80 yards for another score, and Collin Bourcy contributed a 4-yard scoring run for Thousand Islands.
Connor Hamilton had a 6-yard TD run for the Wildcats (0-6, 0-4).
NEW YORK MILLS 20, BEAVER RIVER 13
The Marauders scored the final 14 points of the game to earn a Class D Central comeback victory over the Beavers in New York Mills.
Tevin Pham scored on a 2-yard run to cut the Beaver River lead to 13-12, and Zach Griffith scored on a 9-yard run and Pham ran in the conversion later in the fourth quarter for New York Mills (3-3).
Griffith completed 20 of 30 passes for 291 yards and a score.
Erik Lyndaker scored both touchdowns for Beaver River (2-4, 1-4), scoring on a 61-yard pass from Kyle Steiner in the second quarter, and on a 9-yard run in the fourth.
Steiner amassed 72 yards rushing and threw for 143.

Tom Taplin scored four rushing touchdowns as the Blue Devils (5-1, 4-1) routed the Falcons (1-5, 1-4) in a Class D Central game at Pulaski.

Josh Liebstein rushed for 104 yards and Jordan McCormick added 95 yards rushing to lead OFA (5-1) past the Larries in a Northern Athletic Conference game in Brasher Falls.
Taylor Richardson returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown for OFA.
Brothers Mike and Dave Plante led the Larries (1-5). Mike Plante rushed for 102 yards and returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.
Dave Plante also had an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Antonio Figueroa scored in the 80th minute off a Breven Jacobs direct kick to lift the Golden Knights to a nonleague win over the Mustangs (4-10) in West Winfield.
Copenhagen (14-0) will host Alexandria in Tuesdays Frontier League D Division semifinals.

BEAVERS TAKE COMET CLASSIC
Nick Anderson and Isaac Arroyo of Carthage took first and fifth place, respectively, but Beaver River runners claimed the rest of the top five to win the Comet Classic at Carthage High Schools 5K course.
Alize Jarrett, Brett Neddo and Greg Virkler finished second through fourth, respectively, for the Beavers.
Anderson set the pace with a 17-minute, 3-second race, crossing the line, 26 seconds ahead of Jarrett. Carthage placed second and Watertown third.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
BEAVERS BEST AT COMET CLASSIC
Nola Pominville, Sierra Kempney and Taylor Moore crossed the finish line with five-tenths of a second of each other to finish second through fourth, respectively, leading Beaver River to a first-place finish at the Comet Classic.
Allie Rios of Carthage won the race in 21:32. Carthage was second and Watertown third.
