Ronnie Johnson of Duanesburg has the pole for today’s running of the DIRTcar 358-modified series Salute to the Troops 150 laps race that begins at 1:30 p.m.

The sportsman modified championship (30 laps) is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.

Hogansburg’s Carey Terrance will start third in the small-block championship race.

On Friday, there were several DIRTcar Future feature events.

Rookie Jeff Rockefeller won the big-block modified race. Other winners were: Andrew Krause (358-modifieds); Ricky Quick (sportsman); and Byron Wescott (pro stocks).

Danny Johnson of Phelps won Thursday night’s 358-modified feature at Brewerton Speedway. Watertown native Tim McCreadie led the first 35 laps before losing the lead and fading from contention. He ended up 25th.

Pat Ward, Matt Sheppard, Peter Britten and Dale Planck finished in the top five. Terrance finished 20th.
