CANTON — Dani Felty assisted on both goals as the Clarkson University women’s soccer team shut out SUNY Canton 2-0 in a nonconference game Tuesday night.

Clarkson (4-8 overall) struck first on a goal from Lauren Flynn in the 5th minute and Andrea Riedman scored in the 18th minute for the Golden Knights.

Steph Lynch made four saves to shut out the Kangaroos (5-7).

MEN’S SOCCER

SLU 0, St. John Fisher 0 (OT): The Saints (7-1-2) did not allow a shot on goal in a scoreless tie with St. John Fisher in a nonconference game in Rochester.

Kyle Metcalfe made eight saves for St. John Fisher (3-6-2).

VOLLEYBALL

SLU 3, SUNY Plattsburgh 2: Lexi Brown led the Saints with 18 kills in a 25-16, 15-25, 24-26, 25-19, 15-10 win over SUNY Plattsburgh in a nonconference match in Canton.

Amanda Brooks provided 14 kills and Rebecca Doser added 11. Jenna Street led SLU with 32 assists.

MEN’S GOLF

Meade, Reilly Excel: Zach Meade and Mike Reilly each earned All-American status as SUNY Canton finished fourth at the USCAA championship tournament in State College, Pa.

Meade was a first-team All-American after shooting a two-day total of 150 strokes, six over par, finishing seventh. Reilly finished at 153 strokes to make the second team, placing 10th.

SUNY Canton finished with 626 strokes. Daemen College won the event at 588 strokes.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

SLU 7, Montreal 0: Jessica Hon scored two goals to lead the Saints past the University of Montreal in an exhibition game at Appleton Arena.

Rylee Smith scored one goal with two assists and Brooke Webster added one goal with one assist for SLU. Alex Moore, Bailey Habscheid and Abbey McRae also scored for the Saints. Mikaela Thompson made 23 saves for the shutout.
