Milestones: Sarah and Tom Martilotta, Cape Vincent, have been named 2013 Citizens of the Year by the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. and Mrs. Martilotta, lifelong Cape Vincent residents, both attended Thousand Islands Central School, Clayton.

Mrs. Martilotta is a local are pet-sitter. She is a member of the Cape Vincent Fire Department ladies auxiliary, where she has served as vice president. She also has volunteered for the Salvation Army, Watertown.

Mr. Martilotta is employed by the town of Cape Vincent Highway Department and proprietor of Tom’s Mowing. He has been a member of the Cape Vincent Fire Department for 15 years, where he has served as foreman for four years. He is also a member of the Elks Lodge 496, Watertown.

Mr. and Mrs. Martilotta were honored at the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce annual dinner Sept. 20 at Sunny Bank Restaurant, Cape Vincent.

Graduates: Susan E. Hall, Pulaski, graduated magna cum laude May 18 from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a doctorate of pharmacy. The daughter of Anne and Jeff Hall, Pulaski, was 2007 salutatorian of Pulaski Academy and Central School. She is a staff pharmacist for CVS Pharmacy, Northampton, Mass.

Graduates: Kathleen M. Hall, Pulaski, received a doctorate of physical therapy from Nazareth College, Rochester, on May 12. Also a daughter of Anne and Jeff Hall, Pulaski, Ms. Hall was 2007 valedictorian of Pulaski Academy and Central School and graduated summa cum laude in 2011 from Nazareth College with a bachelor’s degree in science and health science. She is a physical therapist for Rehab Resources, Oswego.
