Back around 1910, Brownvilles main thoroughfare was called Sand Street and you could get the trolley into Watertown there. Today, the street now Main Street looks not so very different. This view is taken looking east. The stone building on the left houses Nonna Dina Pizza, and the building on the right is Walshs Pub. The photo was provided by Leland O. Bellinger, who grew up in Brownville and now lives in Minnesota. Mr. Bellinger invites anyone interested in Brownville history to write to him at P.O. Box 94, Harris, MN 55032.
