PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Andrew S. Ritchie, 21, of Canton with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 10:16 p.m. Friday at the Potsdam Walmart.

FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - MOIRA - Malone-based state police picked up Henry Trzesiara, 36, of Moira as a fugitive from justice early Friday evening at 455 County Route 32, Moira. He was transported to the Franklin County Jail.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of accidents around the region Friday. They included:

■ Kenneth Cline, 87, of St. Andrews, Ont., and Amy R. Burdick, 31, of Constable were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 12:53 p.m. on County Route 4, near County Route 1, in the town of Fort Covington. One person was injured in the accident, troopers said.

■ Robert L. McGill, 67, of Potsdam at 6:57 a.m. on County Route 47, near Rosenbarker Drive, in the town of Parishville.

■ Stephanie M. Chenaille, 26, of North Bangor and Charles J. Owens, 52, of Massena were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 10:23 a.m. in the Twin Leafs parking lot off Route 37 in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Dylan J. Menke, 22, of Brushton at 9:26 p.m. on County Route, near County Route 32, in the town of Fort Covington.
