FORT DRUM — The post’s Family Advocacy Program will host a “Shining the Light on Domestic Violence” professional development seminar from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Commons, Building P-4350, Euphrates River Valley Road.

Held in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, the seminar is open to professionals who provide service and programs to those affected by domestic violence. A panel discussion will take place about a variety of subtopics within domestic violence.

The post’s command teams at the brigade, battalion and company levels also are encouraged to participate, according to a recent agency news release.

People who would like to attend should call Michelle Hoffman at 772-2658 by today.
