The Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust will host its annual Trash Bash from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Waterworks Park, along the Black River.

Local Trash Bash efforts help contribute to the total debris collected from International Coastal Cleanup Day, which is held in conjunction with the local event. Last year, 5,645 volunteers removed 62,633 pounds of debris from 244 miles of shoreline as part of the coastal cleanup day.
