Rebekah Zehr scored her second goal of the second half off of a Mackenzie Kidder pass in the 54th minute to help the Carthage girls soccer team cap a 2-1 comeback victory over host Watertown in a Frontier League “A” Division game on Monday night.

The Comets moved to 3-2-1 with the victory. All three Comets wins have come after they’ve trailed.

Becky Brandal stopped 11 shots for Carthage.

Jill Girardi scored for the Cyclones (2-3-2, 2-2-1) in the 11th minute. Katie Aldrich registered 16 saves.

INDIAN RIVER 4, IHC 1

Erin Hesse and Sidney Black scored two goals apiece to lead the Warriors to an “A” Division victory, their first of the season, over the Cavaliers in Philadelphia.

Hesse and Black each added an assist for Indian River (1-3-2, 1-2-1).

Charisse Lapointe scored for Immaculate Heart (3-3, 2-3).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 6, LOWVILLE 0

Hayley Maguire and Lara Podvin each scored twice as the Spartans blanked the Red Raiders in a “B” Division matchup at Adams.

Paige Maitland and Olivia Barker added goals for South Jefferson (3-0-1). Jackie Decker made four saves.

Lowville fell to 4-1.

THOUSAND ISLANDS 3, ALEXANDRIA 1

Morgan Robbins netted a pair of goals as the Vikings beat the Purple Ghosts in crossover play at Alexandria Bay.

Casey Webb chipped in with a goal for Thousand Islands (5-0).

Mikaela Benny scored for Alexandria (2-3).

LYME 2, SOUTH LEWIS 2

Yanna Ososkalo scored twice, including the game-tying goal in the 54th minute for the Indians as they tied the Falcons in a crossover game in Chaumont.

Reegan Domagala and Jenna Rogers scored for South Lewis (0-4-1), and Miranda Rys stopped eight shots.

Alison Tarwater and Taylor Brown each provided an assist, and Lauren Campbell registered six saves for Lyme (3-1-1).

COPENHAGEN 3, BEAVER RIVER 0

Emma Roberts’s two goals lifted the Golden Knights to a shutout win over the Beavers in a crossover game in Copenhagen.

Claire Stackel tallied the other goal and Sydney Greene notched two assists for Copenhagen (6-0).

Mariah Abel collected 13 saves for Beaver River (2-2-1).

SANDY CREEK 1, SACKETS HARBOR 0

Katie Austin scored on an assist from Madison Bush with 30 minutes left to propel the Comets to a crossover victory over the host Patriots (2-4).

McKenna Guarasce stopped 12 shots to record her first shutout of the season for Sandy Creek (2-2-1).

LAFARGEVILLE 5, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Mackenzie Hilts provided two goals to guide the Red Knights to their first win of the year over the Panthers in a “D” Division game at LaFargeville.

Allison Hoover contributed a goal and assist, and Destiny James made eight saves for LaFargeville (1-3).

Breanne Gilligan turned aside 16 shots for Belleville Henderson (1-5).

BOYS SOCCER

THOUSAND ISLANDS 1, LAFARGEVILLE 0

Aaron Zehr deposited a Tanner Docteur through-ball for a goal to give the Vikings a crossover victory over the Red Knights in Clayton.

Sam Ada collected eights saves for Thousand Islands (3-0).

Thomas O’Driscoll generated 17 saves for LaFargeville (1-5).
