CANTON After 110 minutes of soccer, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Brockport resolved nothing as the mens soccer teams played to a scoreless tie in a nonconference game Saturday.
Aaron Costello finished with three saves for the Saints (3-1-1 overall), and Casey Sullivan made five saves for SUNY Brockport (4-0-1).
SUNY POTSDAM 2, RENSSELAER 1
Eduardo Figueroa scored an unassisted goal in the 80th minute to lead the Bears (5-2) past the Engineers in a nonconference game in Saratoga Springs.
Tom Benedetto tied the game for SUNY Potsdam in the 50th minute. Matt Koziol scored in the 43rd minute for RPI (4-2).
HOUGHTON 2, SUNY CANTON 0
The Highlanders held SUNY Canton (2-3) to only four shots in a nonconference victory in Houghton.
John Carpenter and Mitch Beattie scored for Houghton (4-0-1).
ST. LAWRENCE 4, ELMIRA 0
Julia Friesen scored one goal and assisted on two others to help St. Lawrence defeat Elmira (2-3) in a nonconference contest in Canton.
Mackenzie Collins, Grace Lennon and Julia Mitiguy also scored goals for SLU (5-0-1).
Andrea Strauss made four saves for the shutout.
NAZARETH 1, CLARKSON 0 (OT)
Michaela Soules scored in the 100th minute as Nazareth edged Clarkson (3-3) in overtime in a nonconference game in Potsdam.
Bethany Novak finished with two saves for Nazareth (3-1-2).

Lauren Haase made one save as SUNY Potsdam defeated The Sage Colleges (1-3) in a nonconference game in Albany.
Jess Sterns scored for the Bears (2-3) off a pass from Kaylen Van Wagner in the 46th minute.

Newton Falls native Alexis Pomerville scored the first goal of the game for Keuka College (2-1) in a nonconference victory in Keuka Park.
Jessica Bandrowski and Abbey David also scored for Keuka College.
Katlyn Hart scored for the Kangaroos (3-3).
SUNY GENESEO 1, ST. LAWRENCE 0 (OT)
Bridget McGovern scored an unassisted goal in the 75th minute to give the Blue Knights an overtime win over the Saints (1-3) in a nonconference game in Canton.
Goalie Dayna Mercer stopped eight shots for SUNY Geneseo (3-2).
CLARKSON SPLITS IN CALIFORNIA
Clarkson University (8-4) responded after a tough opening-match loss to defeat Whittier College 25-13, 20-25, 25-14, 25-17 in its final match of the La Verne (Calif.) Tournament.
Fourth-ranked Elmhurst rallied from a two-game deficit to beat Clarkson 24-26, 24-26, 25-18, 25-16, 15-11 in the first match of the day.
Victoria Kirkemo produced 14 kills against Elmhurst, and Lani Durio led Clarkson with 21 assists against Whittier.
Host La Verne defeated the Golden Knights in Fridays late match 25-23, 25-22, 25-13.
KANGAROOS WIN PAIR
Jessica Reynolds combined for seven kills as SUNY Canton (9-1) won a pair of nonconference matches in Canton.
The Kangaroos opened with a 25-14, 25-12, 25-11 sweep of Paul Smiths and then swept Johnson State 25-6, 25-10, 25-14.
Kiana Archer tallied 25 assists.
SAINTS SECOND IN OSWEGO
A pair of victories gave SLU (7-4) a second-place showing at the SUNY Oswego Invitational.
SLU defeated the host Lakers 20-25, 25-27, 25-17, 25-21, 17-15 and then swept Wells 25-9, 25-7, 25-13 to finish 3-1 in the event.
Katie Prue was named to the All-Tournament team for SLU.
BEARS SPLIT AT RIT
Sarah Anderson finished with 26 overall kills as SUNY Potsdam (6-7) went 1-1 in the second day of the RIT Invitational.
RIT beat the Bears 25-13, 25-21, 25-27, 25-18 in the first match Saturday. SUNY Potsdam beat SUNY Brockport 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-16 in the final match of the tournament.
JCC SWEEPS DAY
Jefferson Community College swept a trio of Region 3 matches held at Onondaga Community College.
The Cannoneers defeated Tompkins Cortland Community College, 25-6, 25-14 and 25-6; bested SUNY Delhi, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20; and outlasted Broome Community College, 25-20, 25-16, 20-25 and 25-13.
Ashley Capone totaled 31 service points, 29 kills, 11 blocks and 19 digs on the day for JCC (6-3).
Kierstin Burke contributed 35 digs, 18 service points and 10 kills for the Cannoneers and Haley Riley recorded 24 kills, 33 service points and 19 digs.
CLARKSON MEN TAKE SECOND
Daniel Fritz finished fourth overall, followed by teammate Benjamin Yeo, as the Clarkson mens squad finished second at the Hamilton College Invitational.
Rensselaer won the event with 28 points and Clarkson tallied 50.
Clarksons women finished in fourth place with 88 points. RPI also claimed the womens event with 29 points.
Catherine Zarnofsky led Clarksons women with a 12th-place finish.
KANGAROOS FINISH SECOND
Tom Lauzon finished in fifth place overall to help SUNY Cantons men to a second-place showing at the Southern Vermont Invitational in Bennington, Vt.
SUNY Canton finished with 79 points and Castleton State won with 37.
Megan Mydosh finished in second overall for SUNY Cantons women and the Kangaroos finished in fifth place with 120 points.
Williams won the womens event with 60 points.
