■ The Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library will be hosting a free adult altered tins workshop from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today in the community room.

n FORT DRUM — About 300 soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team and 10th Combat Aviation Brigade returned from Afghanistan on Thursday morning. The soldiers served in Ghazni Province, while the aviators operated around Regional Command-East.
