The Place downed Julie’s Dance Studio in the opening night of Kiwanis Youth Soccer action on Monday.

For The Place, Justice McIntyre scored four goals, Isaiah Smith and Cole Rickett each netted two goals and Trent Lovely added one tally. Azlyn Richardson made five saves for the shutout which was aided by Rose Pharoah, Emma LaFlair, Quinn Crosson and Garrett Holland. Gabe Malette and Kendall Putney led a hustling effort by Julie’s Dance Studio.
