Hogansburg man found with 22 pounds of pot at traffic checkpoint

CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - ANTWERP - Watertown-based state police charged Brian A. Lazore Jr., 36, of Hogansburg with a felony count of first-degree criminal possession of marijuana Saturday after 22 pounds of marijuana were found inside his 1995 red Honda Accord when he stopped at a traffic checkpoint on Route 11 in the town of Antwerp being run by U.S. Border Patrol and New York State Police.

Lazore wasarraigned in the Town of LeRay Court and remanded to Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
